The Aireginan Dream Public Presentation

I had been looking forward to this presentation for a long time and finally the day came. I had a great time. Usually I don't like being the centre of attention but i coped very well. Elder Wigwe (Former Director General of NTA- Nigerian Television Authority) chaired the occasion and gave us snipets of wisdom on the need for a new Nigeria. Kunle Ajibade of 'The News' Fame; Kola Ayeye former Managing Director of National Bank; Pastor Sam Adeyemi - ably represented by Ayo Daniels; Femi Obaweya and Pastor Peter Egho, took turns to review the book. I was quite pleased to hear that for each one of them, the book was a page turner

The message was the same. First any change in Nigeria will start with you. Secondly, if we fold our arms and do nothing, then the status quo of poverty, corruption etc will remain. I was glad to hear many of the guests pledge to make their contribution to the renewal we all desire.

What else?

There was a seven minutes drama (a montaige) put together by Olu Otunde which received an outstanding ovation. Princess Fola Olusola did the book reading; we had a theme song titled - Lets lift up our eyes and view our promised land and so on. (I'll post the lyrics later). And the turn out was good. I'll like to thank everyone who came and I appreciate all your kind words about The Aireginan Dream. I'd love to hear your feedback which you can post under the review column. for the books.
