Every day is a miracle. We do not often see this because we have gone through so many days and so tend not to pay attention to the miracle of breathing, sleeping and waking, eating without chocking, going to the toilet freely, and returning home safely after each day.
Yesterday evening, God brought the fact of His divine protection, home to me again. My husband came home about 7p.m. in the evening and sat down. I greeted him casually, and why not? He had just dropped me at home three hours earlier before returning to church.
With a pensive tone he said - I experienced something today that I have never experienced in my whole life. That got my attention... What happened? I asked. He told us the story.

Thank God for another new year. And Thank God for technology, the good wishes started rushing in from 12 midnight of the 1st of January.
Traditionally, the first day of the year is the time for new year resolutions and this year is no different. By the 4th or the 5th, the resolutions are often forgotten but hopefully this year will be different.
I recommend that we write them down and paste it where we will see it every morning. As we keep our eyes fixed on our goals day by day, may God give us the grace to pursue them. We can't afford for another year to go by without those dreams coming true.
I wish everyone a fufilled 2007

Gbala heard from the grapevine that his family and friends were planning a surprise birthday party for him. They didn't want him to catch on but yet it was too obvious. They hired a hall for the event, they hired caterers, bought gifts and expensive clothes and shoes for the party.
Everything became clearer when he stumbled on the invitation card; the party was to start at 12noon. He was proud of his friends. Obviously they loved him. He had planned surprise parties himself and so he knew the joy and awe it could bring to the celebrant. He waited patiently for the day to come.

I am currently on vacation and it feels so good. I haven't been on vacation for about 2 years now. Can you imagine not having to wake up at 5 in the morning, rush to leave the house by 6, patiently drive through the traffic and hope there are no major bottlenecks.

There's so much I want to do. I have very big dreams. But then i am so busy and I tell myself - I'll do it tomorrow.
As i sit here in the office this late evening, I wonder; it has to be time to make the tomorrow today. I am telling myself - It's time to set new priorities, or else, i may be leaving the greater dreams for the lesser ones. So by God's grace i'll start today.

Through generations, philosophers have agitated themselves with finding answer to that great question, who am i and why am i here.
I look at all i have achieved and all i have become and when i ask that great question, the answer that makes sense to me the most is that I am God's daughter. I love him with a passion. I'm not always perfect, but i have the confidence to lean on him and exchange my weakness for his strength.
That's who i am.
